Our Professional Tub & Tile Reglazing Process

Preparation of Work Area:

Cover all surrounding areas to prevent damage when applying porcelain epoxy coats to your tub or tile. Utilize a ventilation system from the beginning to eliminate any odors.

Removal of Old Material:

Remove existing silicone around the tub. If there’s old glaze or paint, scrape it off. (Note: For tile reglazing glazing, we apply new grout to all tiles for a nice, uniform finish. Any cracks or chips will be repaired.)

Surface Cleaning:

Apply acid to the tub or tile surfaces to degrease, clean off mildew, and remove mold.

Washing & Sanding:

Thoroughly clean the area with water and then sand it for smoothness.

Repair Work:

Use porcelain Bondo to fill all chips and cracks, ensuring a smooth finish. Sand the area again after repairs.

Primer Application:

Apply four coats of resin primer, allowing 30 minutes for drying.

Final Porcelain Finish:

Apply four coats of porcelain finish. The tub or tile will be ready for use in 24 hours.
